My name is Nonna and I am a front-end web developer based in Toronto. I am a friendly, client-centered professional who is passionate about creating and building websites. I pride myself on writing clean and polished code, to produce elegant, informative, and accessible web experiences for everyone.
I came to web development from the world of information and libraries to pursue my love of code, after I found myself enjoying the exciting challenges that came from writing code. The daily challenges and constant learning experiences that web development brings is what keeps me passionate about what I do every single day.
When I'm not coding or learning new technical skills, you can find me in the kitchen, trying out a new cupcake recipe. Or, more likely, curled up on the couch with a good book, and one of my two adorable cats, Sheeva and Tompkins.
Small & Scaly
A web app for an animal adoption agency who wanted to bring awareness and showcase overshadowed critters (bunnies, reptiles, hamsters, etc.) who need love. This was a team project for a client consisting of paired programming and design meetings.
Rainy Day Reads App
An app that pulls from the Wunderground and Goodreads API to predict the next rainy day, and help the user plan a book to curl up with and read.
A beautiful PSD for a creative agency that I brought to life through the power of HTML, CSS, CSS animations, and jQuery. Made responsive using flexbox.
A lovely eCommerse PSD for a flower shop that I turned into an HTML static website styled with a little CSS magic. Made responsive using floats
